Shopping

Being the filial son that I am, I went groceries shopping with my mum at NTUC(Prolly shanru's most hated company right now). Anyway while I was there I heard something hilarious.
Two NTUC aunty colleagues met each other. They spoke in catonese of course. Multi-lingual me understood of course.

NTUC Aunty 1 (upon seeing her friend) : Have you strike lottery already not?
NTUC Aunty 1 continued walking, without stopping.
NTUC Aunty 2 (without even looking up from packing the fruits) : YES, tomorrow.

And that was it. Haha. As fast as it began it ended. I smiled wryly to myelf. I thought the retort could not be any better. NTUC Aunty 1 was left speachless too.
