Day 1 of Leave

I returned to my Alma Mater for a game of soccer on Saturday morning... Boy! Was it tiring... I'm not sure why I was so tired. I was knackered after less than 20 mins! Haha. Anyway, it was not as fun as previous games as I felt I was not brimming with energy. Another good indication that I should work out more, other than the constant reminders from my midriff.

Anyway, the scorching sun did not help matters and soon we ended the game before noon. We did however stroll into the school. My old junior college looks so good now. I did not take much pictures but here's just 1:-

Cool Huh? It even has a chinese idom carved in stone! And I actually know what it means! One of the limited chinese idioms that I know of! Long story short, I had this principal who always quotes chinese idioms during morning assemblies. She seems like a super caring principal and frequently gives morning assembly speeches. Her english pronociation could do with some polishing but her intentions were always sincere. Anyway think she retired. BUT Her legacy..... lives on.... haha...

Anyway, loosely translated, it mean when we drink water we must remember the source. Sooo funky huh? Imagine if she says this during our government's fantastic tip top reverse osmosis - Newater's promotion campaign....

Ok after soccer I went to celebrate my younger brother's birthday before meeting up with shanrooooo.... We watched "The Benchwarmers" at Suntec. Courtesy of the free movie vouchers fromwork! Yay!

The show was very very lame. Circles around this bunch of bullies and grown up geeks. Serious Hard Core Geeks. Those Star Trek, Star Wars kind. Anyway the movie was hilarious though. If you are looking for a laugh do watch it. It's super funny. But one thing that puzzles me is how all the geeks/nerds get the hottest chicks! Very unconvincing. The chicks was even hell bent on pro-creation. Haha.. UnfaiR!!! The show is quite lame and childish but I quite enjoyed it. Double Yay!

(ok. not sure why the picture of Rob Schneider and his hot pro-creation obsessed wife is not uploading... Too bad... You got to catch the movie to see it.)
