Sixth of day of freedom

I returned to Tekong for my bro's Passing Out Parade on the auspicious 060606. As usual, the wait was long and the food distributed was barely edible. And like every other organisation, adhering to timings on a schedule was non-existent. Why distribute a lovely photocopied pamphlet with a huge schedule printed but not follow it? The problem of Rubber timing comes back to haunt them again. I bet many of my friends experience it before.

Anyway, like myself, my brother went into the same company as me but barely got the same number of confinements as me. Haha. Mine stands at 5 (but I did 3), while his is a nice round figure of 0. How unfair!! But good for him!
Overall, It's good to finally see how a BMT parade was carried out. Drills were all over the place but it's BMT la. I was once there too. Probably had psycho-motor problems half of the time.

But 1 thing was that the Recruits did not even know how to sing the Infantry song! What is happening now! I recalled a time when we were made to memorise the infantry song by hard. I can almot still recall 80% of the song. More importantly, I have always thought the song was just as important as the parade. Obviously, the whole company was fooled. Haha.

I look really FAT in this picture. Have I been eating too much?? Hmmm... Maybe it's the curse of the 060606, where pictures taken appear fatter than they really are!

Had an epiphany at 9:02 am.
