Good evening Singapore!
My month-long leave ended last week. Well, the aim of getting my weight to hit the late 70s failed. My weight reamains constant. However, I've managed to get a tan! So I look a little darker now, and hopefully a little slimmer on the eyes too! Wooo Hooo...
Surprisingly, going back to work is almost second nature. I arrived at the workplace early and by lunch, managed to orientate myelf to all the new stuff happening around me. Anyway, there's something else that is more astonihing. The first thing I noticed was how neat my workspace was. OMG! The chances of me having a neat table is almost identical to the of probablity Singapore qualifying for the 2050 World Cup. And it happened! Haha.. Found out my colleague did the DA SHAO CHU for me.. Good job man... Hahah... Of course, the neat clean table was only a facade for the 200+ email lurking in my account just waiting to pounce on my short-lived joy. Found out I got lotsa work cut out for me and big shoes to "cover".... Well.. I'm sure it'll be a fantastic learning experience. Best of all, news on my replacement coming really soon is a Morale Booster! ( I found out it;s this coming MONDAY!!!!!!)
I caught Just My Luck - Starring Lindsay Lohan! last week too. The show was the absolute teen bopper show as expected. Nothing new there. I caught it at the Shaw Brothers outlet at the building next to Suntec. It's cinemas are named Prince 1, Jade 2 , etc... Something Yangtze Cinema would do. Haha. The theatre itself was quite big and Shanru thinks it quite nicely decorated though. I thought so too.. But of course... only after shanroooo pointed it out...

Credit goes to trigger happy Roo who managed to take a photo of the cinema with my cool K751I phone.

Anyway, the movie was really not good and I would'nt recommend it to anyone else.. Unless you are there for the chest cushions of Lindsay Lohan. Haha....
Next I had.... MA LA HUO GUO- (Direct translation was sought from Teacher Roo and it meant - Numb Tongue Fire Pot)

As you can see. The whole left bit of the steamboat is FREAKING CHILLI OIL. the same thing that engulfed my previous phone. Haha. The memories of my previous phone sinking like titanic in the bowl of Crystal JAde bowl of chilli oil noodles will forever be etched in my mind.

Well.. The Numb part says it all. I asked for the most spicy and luckily shanru was sensible enough to get moderately spicy instead. However, 5 minutes into my dinner, I already looked like I ran the Cross-Country. It was really really hot & super spicy. Tiny advert to all thrill seeking lovers: Get your socks knocked off with Ma La Huo Guo! It's da bomb!

Had an epiphany at 12:00 am.
