A post on Soccer

My good British pal in Spain, David B, recommended it to me.
Honestly, it's a pretty well made video. The video also shows how Liverpool & Manchester United showed great chracter and fighting sprit to win one of the most prestigious competition in Europe.
Perhaps before all the Liverpool or Man U haters or even soccer haters begin to diss this video, soccer is neither a sport of merely 22 sweaty men chasing a ball nor is this video a tribute to Liverpool/Man U. It's a video that shows the epitome of fighting spirit and a never-say-die atitude through soccer.

I still remember waking up in the wee hours of the morning and sneaking into our officer cadet's mess with Ah Pek and a few others to catch the momentous Final of Liverpool vs Milan. Celebrations after the match was rather muted, haha.. since we did not want to get caught, but no doubt were we delighted.

In the words of the late Bill Shankly, a past Manager of Liverpool,

"Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that."

A rather extreme view for me though, haha..
Anyway, now that I am inspired by the video, I shall go back to mugging.
