PROMINENT UNI

Ever since stepping into uni, I've realised how PROMINENT my uni is. Open up today's Straits Times and you can quickly see scandalous news on an NTU professor on the front page of home section.(Naughty naughty... Tsk Tsk.) Venture a couple of pages further and you find NTU's recently constructed unique "School of Art, Media and Design" being liken to a golf course. That "golf course" set the uni back by a cool $37 MILLION! Of course it should look like a damm golf course Tiger Woods would crave. It should also look like the every other 7 wonders of the world from various angles!
Just a gossip tidbit: According to Straits Times, School of Art, Media and Design has a total of 259 students. Hence, just factoring in the building cost alone, that works out to about $140,000 per arty farty student(that's rounded down, mind you). Mighty hefty sums to produce little George Lucases and Steven Spielbergs huh? Right Qee Dee???? hahah...
In a nutshell, my uni happening huh? haha..
As my Lambo, Beemer and RRs got struck down by some engine virus I was left to take public transport to campus this bright and wonderful morning.
Little would it seem, that I would later step into a Zoo and finally realised how PROMINENT are it's students too.
After stepping into the last carriage on the MRT, I rushed to a seat with the same vigour, a horny uncle with loads of cash would to ladies at geylang, hhaha, and obviously got a seat lah.. A quick observant glance around, told me I was surrounded by students. A second look, told me it's gonna be 1 cool train ride haha. I did not sleep from Kembangan to Boon Lay.
BITCH-FIT TIME!!!!! hahah....
Seated at the row opposite me, the corner seat at the extreme left was a slightly plump girl, BIOCHEM GIRL She wore a tight top, a tight shorts, both 3 sizes too small, a jacket and chunky big sandals. (told u I didnt sleep. haha) She was studying when I board the train and she had a queer way of mugging. She would read her huge BIOCHEM Text, close it, look 45 degrees to her right, pause then return to her books. She was the ultimate mugger. I prayed she as an NUS student. Before Clementi, she closed her book and seemed to me like she wanted to alight. I thought my prayers were answered! NTU where got so MUGGERTOAD plus NERD!!! Well, she did'nt... She whipped out another text! Cant tell what it was as the whole book looked older than me with both the front and back covered being ripped off. And started MUGGING again with the same studying pattern! ahah.. So weird lah!!! Turns out BIOCHEM GIRL stopped at BOON LAY!! Waaaaaaaa.... But not before standing up in her tight shorts and giving the passengers the full view of her waist spilling from the top of her shorts as her XXXS shirt was not long enough to reach her pants. I mean nothing wrong with being fat lah. I also look belly lo... from some angle look like Santa claus lo.. but wear clothes that flatter your body shape la... You dont want to see santa claus in red speedos right???
Next was NUS IMPACT MECHANICS BOY! On the opposite row, a few seats to my left. He had also the geeky look going on... This one, I thought comfirm NUS. Still wear their "NUS impact mechanics" shirt. HAhah.. His actions super funny. He was listening to his mp3 player and was apparently totally insync with his music. He then became increasingly animated playing his imaginary drums and guitar while grooving to his music. Hahah... Happening la this fella. Grooving and oblivious to the rush hour crowds. People beside him must have been relieved to hear clementi being announced on the MRT speakers. haha. BUT COME CLEMENTI and NUS impact mechanics boy continued grooving!! Wahhhh... GUESS WHERE NUS boy boy stopped? BOON LAY. Waaaaa... Super lucky... hahaha... I pray he only come NTU for exchange... hahah...
Afterwhich was LAPPIE GIRL! This girl also damm steady.. Set up camp at the inactive MRT Door and use headphones too... HAha.. As all the rush hour crowd squeeze in, she continues to seat crosslegged on the MRT floor surrounded by her Laptop Bag and deuter bag. Not giving an inch to the MRT crowd. She also oblivious to the surrounding crowds. Haha.. One weird part was that she seats with her back straightened and never once slouching.. So weird... I see also I uncomfortable. Haha.. and guess where she stopped?????
BINGO! BOON LAY also la... hahah..
ACtually, there is also TOPSHOP GIRL (totally whole head to toe in very reconizable topshop styled clothes), INDIAN INSEPARABLE COUPLE (indian couple like chang and eng, at least 1 body part must be in contact), JAPAN JERSEY BOY (cool jap soccer jersey plus cool hair guy), ONE HEADPHONE NERD (guy was wearing a driver cap and using a pair headphones with one of the earpiece snipped off) and lastly, FAT POSER(me la... hhahaha) all on the same carriage too. and all of which alighted at boonlay. ahhah... but i'm too tired to elaborate... so use your imagination la! But it was mighty fun observing all these interesting NTU characters... ahha..
