Movie Review - Borat

I just caught "Borat - the movie" today. Firstly, I have seen clips of Sasha Baron Cohen playing Borat in clips from his "Da Ali G Show" and I was tickled funny by his hilarious pranks and wonderful impersonation.

However, Borat the movie was pretty much a huge let-down. It certainly did not reflect the hype nor "Five Star Rating" from the media either. The movie was not funny and pretty boring in most parts.
It did not even justify the "R21" rating it was given. Perhaps the censors were a little too strict on this one. A little racist jokes here, a little nudity (of a male appendage) there and bare hairy bottoms all over the place were all that was shown. NOT EVEN A SINGLE BOOB! haha. Not to worry Post-Eighty Fivers there's really nothing you are missing out. You probably get more "action" watching like certain nc 16 shows. haha.
I could not believe I so so so wanted to watch this show. I was not even a least bit satisfied when the show ended. Ok actually, I was quite glad when the show ended. Any longer and it would have been painful. The whole show was an anti-climax. I think I even got more kicks watching the antics of Gurmit Singh in "One leg Kicking" than this movie.

One Leg Kicking - The Movie

My recommendations- Honestly, it's hard for me to even think that it could justify the weekday movie ticket price. Watch it if you got $9.50 to freaking BURN. Though I do prefer if you give it to the busker along orchard underpass. or you can catch it if you are on your third date and want a place to make out and know that you are not missing much even as you make out during the movie.
If not, just watch another show lah.

Had an epiphany at 1:31 am.
