New friends are great but Old friends are gold!

Caught Dreamgirls with the JC guys yesterday. Rather enjoyable and as always a very boyish outing. haha. A very good break from studies and work.
Dreamgirls is A MUSICAL. haha. If anyone did not know, DREAMGIRLS IS A MUSICAL. Haha. So do not be alarm if the actors suddenly start belting out a song when they should have just talked instead. You are in the right cinema, it's not "Ali Baba Khan and the 15 Palm Trees". Just stay put.
Well, overall , the constant singing in place of talking did make the movie a little boring to me. But the singing of Jennifer Hudson was the bomb. Boy, can she sing. With that powerful voice of hers, I think the SAF should consider hiring her, instead of the usual stressed out Lt Colonel my-veins-are-popping-from-shouting to be the national day parade commander. In addition to Hudson's booming voice, we should have no problems irritating the hell out of our causeway neighbours every 9 August with her super loud voice. Haha. Killing 2 birds with one stone.
Oh, i bought a new shoe yesterday too. I realised my Nike Air Force one is also in the same colours of red and white. haha. oh well. at least i've finally got a pair of new shoes after 2 fruitless visits to Queensway Shopping Centre.
