Nail-ed

Yay! Tomorrow is Friday! Wooooo!!!!! Week Four of the academic calendar is coming to a close!!

I am lagging in terms of school work and I desperately need the weekend to catch up, for the dreadful quizes just round the corner!

Anyway, last week's soccer session has left me with a sort-of broken toe nail, which is really irritating me. Cos its like kinda broken but not really broken. In NS term, half-fucked.

Ok understanding this picture would be vital in understanding the nail predicament I am currently in.

Alright Nail Anatomy 101 begins... not for the faint hearted, eg: marcus the gay..

From the outside, my toenail looks rather normal, still attached obviously. Other then being alittle pale in comparison to the other toenails, it looks perfectly fine. However, looks is rather deceiving. haha. the nail is rather loose in its slot and I can actually shift it like from side to side. It is not excruciating but alittle painful when I place significant pressure on it. It seems like the nail is broken under the Eponychium. so I can feel the kinda detached nail under the surrounding skin. Haha. I also have like 2 Lunalas. One smaller lunala inside the larger one. Probably from the tackle I received last Saturday, since the smaller lunala seems alittle bruised.

It seems to me that only the Eponychium/cuticle is holding the nail, which is why my nail seem to have a higher degree of freedom, these days. ahha. But my attempts to push the nail from under my eponychium seems in vain. Sians.. I did harbour the thought of just ripping the whole nail plate off but I am like a pussy at heart lah. haha.

oh well, I'll see how it progresses. Hopefully, it would not take a visit to the doctor to solve the problem. hahah..
